Naam Ras Kirtan Darbar

With Guruji's grace, Naam Ras Kirtan Darbar is back. It will be hosted from the 22nd to the 25th of December 2006 at Singapore Expo. A number of young sikh sewadars, along with the tremendous support from Sadhsangat, the distinguished kirtani jathas and the world-class location, this darbar has been made possible once again, back by popular demand. World renowned kirtani jathas, Bhai Sarabjit Singh Rangila Ji ( Durg Wale), Bhai Amandeep Singh Ji (G. Mata Kaolan Ji), Bhai Jasbir Singh Ji (Paonta Sahib Wale), Bhai Onkar Singh Ji (Una Sahib Wale) and one of Khalsa Panth's most respected kirtani, Bhai Guriqbal Singh Ji (G. Mata Kaolan Ji), have agreed to participate in this event
The idea for this samagam is driven by the common love for kirtan among the sikh youth. This samagam which hopes to be a bi-annual event, was started back in 2002. Naam Ras Kirtan Darbar held in 2002 and 2004, with Guruji's gace, had an overwhelming response, and was considered to be a success. With great memories from then, it is now being held again due to popular demand .
We hope that this event will be able to create a platform for future unified youth events on a national or even regional-level. Like all simran and kirtan events, we are confident that blessings from SatGuruji and the Sadhsangat will see us through this darbar and encourage more such kirtan samagams in Singapore.
